What app are you using to send commands?
Are you using the same computer as you were previous use?

I posted a question a week or so ago and got a response in a day or two. Patience I suppose.

Have you tried contacting directly instead of posting to forum?

I believe you can launch Coolterm from the “SlowSend.stc” file included in link to folder. Images of my Options settings as well.
I always send “$$” as first line command to make sure TinyG is talking.
    Hope this helps

This seem to accomplish what I need:

    begin FOOTER

    “G1Z1”
    “G1x0y0”
    “G1z0”

With this I can run sequence of project files without re-homing and re-positioning for G92. (Hopefully avoiding any position differences resulting from re-homing for each project file.)

“I am new to CNC machining.”
This isn’t your CNC’s first job?
You’ve run other jobs cutting similar sized material with no problem?
What kind of spindle are you using?
    Spoil board has been leveled?

Might your chucked bit need tightening? And is your bit sharp?

Cutting MDF or Partical Board with dull bit can pull the bit out of the chuck. Z-axis not perfectly perpendicular to cutting compounds this problem.

I have strong interest in using a spare tingG to build a low wattage lasercutter. Might either of you point me to TinyG setup parameters for (I suppose: 2 axis movement + laser control)?

    Thanks!
I disabled all switches and ran the job. Set xyz minimums to home only and will test that in the morning.
By the way, I replaced the switch wiring with shielded cables and that did correct the problem.

    Problem is back!
Cutting position is no where near limit switches. Deadline for parts I’m cutting looming. Help!
Best I can do is replace a switch. If I only knew which one. Does the “240” in error message indicate anything in this regard?

Thanks – I thought noise might be the culprit too. Moved some wires around and it hasn’t occurred again. Dry here most of the time. Those two one hour jobs were acrylic. Maybe static related to material? My first time cutting acrylic on this machine.
