    I see this lots of times after aborted jobs.  I’ve figured out if I reset the board again and click on Connection>Flush Serial Port in CoolTerm then I can reconnect without it happening.   Also many times Aborting a job by hitting reset in CoolTerm will lock up CoolTerm so bad I can’t even close it through the task manager in XP.  What I found out is if I unplug the USB cable CoolTerm will become responsive again.

    What are the differences between a reset from the reset button and a reset from the Amax limit switch?  Could you just wire a button to the Amax limit switch to use for a reset?

    It was a simple fix, I just didn’t have XON selected in coolterm.

    Did you remember to set the baud rate at 115200?

    Here is an example of gcode where it fails.  its the Shapeoko hello world file.  Interestingly I see two Arc Specification errors now, which I only saw one last night.  Also this is the normal spot it fails at but it has had instances where it failed at a different point, I just can’t replicate that now.  Thanks.
