    I checked D5 on the arduino and all seemed to be in order.  All I have is a multimeter and I have only limited knowledge of what to test for.  Thank you for your help.  I’ll email the address you suggested.

    That should have said none of the pens are bent or have gotten bent while I have been working with it. 🙂

    One of the pens are bent or got bent at anytime I have been working with it.  I’ll check out pin 6 on the arduino just to see what happens there.  Otherwise I will take you up on your offer.
