I can't speak for repeatability, though I have found these switches to have very good digital capabilities (on/off). Given the mechanism, individual modification of the switch geometry may help with repeatability.
I'm currently working on brackets to be used on the Sherline so I can adjust the switches to ensure accurate and repeatable action. Who ever gets done first should post up results!
