I've read the following:
https://github.com/synthetos/TinyG/wiki/Sending-Data-to-TinyG-using-RX-Packet-Mode
which says "packet mode" (vs. streaming) is available in Build 446.xx and later.
However, on the firmware downloads page, it shows "Master" as 440.20, "Master Candidate" as 440.19 (?!) and "Edge" as 449.01.
The packet-mode description was posted in March 2017; is this still "in progress", or can we expect this (what appears to be a big improvement in messaging approach) anytime soon? I hesitate to install "edge" builds because I'm still pretty new to this, and still building my CNC from the ground up. So I avoid/eliminate variables whenever possible. Can you give a status update on this?
Thanks!
