Ok I know this is probably a stupid question but I can't get my fan to work. It is a 12v pc fan and when I connect it it does nothing. Is there a command for turning the fan on or is it supposed to come on automatically when the board does?
Should I be connecting it to the pins closest to the edge or the other ones?

see diagram/comments on right side about fan. (bet you just don't have the jumper in place)
Always a good idea to probe the pins with a multimeter to ensure you have the proper voltage.

You put the jumper across the middle pin and the 12V pin.

pwr + _ 4 5 6 (fan pins)
I get 12 volts when connecting 1 & 3 and 3 & 6. And 24 volts when connecting 1 &6. Nothing on the middle pins? I'm going to go with 1&3 I guess that is alright... Thanks again...
That was supposed to look like the board, showing the power input to the left. the 4 5 6 are the pins closest to the edge 123 behind it.
