    Hello,

    I want to upgrade my current controller for my Ox CNC. I’m using a simple cnc-shield at the moment with Universal GCode Sender.

    Is it possible to use the Universal GCode Sender with the TinyG because it has TinyG support? And if so why isn’t it mentioned in the TinyG Wiki?

    There are numerous CAM front ends and terminal emulators such as CoolTerm that can communicate with tinyG.

    UGS is one of them

    We don’t see many UGS users asking questions here.
    Do you need help with some aspect?

    The reason i’m asking this is that I like UGS. I do not have the TinyG yet. so I was wondering if I could use UGS without (the usual) problems.

    Of course it depends on what you believe the “usual problems” are.

    UGS is what I would call and ‘enhanced basic’ Gcode file sender.

    Chilipepper is, on the other hand, a bleeding edge evolving CAM solution.
