MemberHello,
I’m having issue with my board. It’s being unresponsive to serial command (using my own application, or coolterm). The board is on, and the red light (not sure which one, I can’t open my enclosure right now) is constantly flashing every seconds as soon as the board is on (or even immediatly after a reset).
When sending serial commands, the RX led is blinking correctly on the board, and I double checked my sent command using a spy on the serial port : they are correct.I’ve been using it for a while now to develop my TinyG control application, but suddenly it does not respond.
Does the red light describe an know issue I’ve been missing ?I already had a similar issue here :
I had to reinstall the firmware, but I’d like to avoid doing this every few weeks…
Thanks

MemberHello,
I tried to reinstall the firmware, but avrdude cannot connect to the programmer.
C:\Program Files\arduino-1.0.4>avrdude -p x192a3 -P com4 -c avr109 -b 115200 -U flash:w:tinyg.hex Connecting to programmer: .avrdude: butterfly_recv(): programmer is not responding C:\Program Files\arduino-1.0.4>
I’m under Windows 7, using board v7. I already did that before on this thread :
But can’t do it anymore…Any idea ?

MemberHello,
Thanks for the answer. I do not have the AVRISP MKII programmer. I think I’ll buy one because it’s always useful. I live in France so I’m afraid the shipping cost will be more than the price of a programmer…

Is that normal ??

Keymasterpsyko,
Sorry tracking a bunch of different posts / issues right now. Are we good? Are you getting the support you need? Let me know if I missed something.

MemberHello,
I managed to get the board working by flashing the xboot and reinstalling the firmware.
