    Hey ,
    i am using TinyG to control my Liteplacer SMD pick and place machine. suddenly its stopped showing in my device manager. I tried to connect again using different USB cables & different machines.there is no problem with bootloader. If anyone faced this problem please help.

    Host OS?
    What application sends Gcode? (CoolTerm, custom, ??)
    Suddenly as in middle of job?

    I am using windows8. It was working well.. Suddenly it’s disappear from device manager. I tried to connect it to windows7.looks like the ftdi chip is dead.Is it possible to remove the chip and install new one.i am using liteplacer and chilipepper.

    You obviously understand smt devices, so yes, replacing the FTDI is possible with the right soldering skillset and tools.

    FT230X datasheet says,the chip is programmable one.so how to upload the program to the chip if i install a fresh chip on my TinyG ??
