    Head over here:

    and briefly describe the problem

It gets all the info to the right place.

The same thing happened with me. I am using the TinyG to run a dual gantry setup with 4 NEMA 23 steppers. The voltage is set to 24V and the current is limited to 2.5 amps. The driver on the 4th channel sparked and started smoking the first time. I ordered a new TinyG, and the chip near the USB plug sparked during a cycle, and the board is not working now. I was using it on cardboard to avoid moisture and shorting. Is there any way I could replace the damaged components? Any help will be highly appreciated.

Not sure which “chip near USB” you might be referring to.
    Schematics are here:

Probably a power regulator device (a guess, they are in that area.
Do you have something connected to the 12V fan connector?
tinyG sitting on dry cardboard should be OK (I assume that is what you meant).

it is possible to replace components, but power devices (regulators, stepper drivers) are soldered to ground plane for heat sinking, so need a lot of heat to be removed and replaced successfully.

BTW, when you say current limited to 2.5A – by the Power Supply?
2.5A might not be enough for 4 active NEMA23’s – you might be causing the PS to drop out.
