    Good morning,

I sent an e-mail last week about my TinyG’s screw terminal inputs. The two 30v input screws don’t tighten. The plastic piece there is loose and doesn’t hold any of the wires in at all, and when you do turn the screws they just turn in place. If they do tighten, nothing happens. It seems like it wasn’t seated right when made or as though the piece is defective.

Is there any way to contact Synthetos aside from their customer service e-mail? I just finished assembly of my CBeam and having the power wires slip out of the control board isn’t much fun.

    Thanks!

Your description does sound like a defective connector.

Are you sure you opened the contacts all the way by rotating screws counterclockwise?
That should open the jaws of the clamp.
it is easy to insert the wire on top of the top jaw if the jaws are not wide open.

    And yes,

is the best way to connect

That’s what it seemed like to me, I just wasn’t sure if anyone else had run into this issue before. I received a few suggestions to remove and directly solder the wires, but I don’t want to do that.

Thanks for the link. Hopefully I hear back soon.

    Nell
