    Hey guys,
I have been finishing up my first build recently and I just added a touch plate and had mounted an external reset button for the TinyG (dam Spdir flash attacks!)
I had just changed my velocity up rather high on my OX (16000 max on X and Y) due to seeing that as max on another guys Ox which was working fine… So the X was being tested first and it started moving then it made bad noises and jammed up.. I think you call that a stall? either way it jammed up which had happened a bit early on when I first got it going but got all my step angles corrected and had it working great at 6000 max..
Now to the point… I had tried the X a few times just jogging a bit but then I hear my USB disconnect and the lights are now off on the TinyG….. the 12V fan is still running but nothing at all on the board is going anymore (so much sad face)
I have emailed Synthetos but doubt I will get a reply anytime soon. Unfortunately I am far away in Sydney and it takes ages for a new unit to come here plus if it’s a warranty thing I would hope they would send me another.
Just to clarify- there was no smoke and the ICs on each axis were cool to touch when it happened. I did put my multi meter on D1 thinking it might be a diode (not complete geek but have seen this on blown HDDs) the D1 thing has continuity on both sides, does anyone know if this is a diode that self sacrifices if something happens and can someone tell me things I can try to test to get it back up and running.
    Much appreciate the help guys!
