I have my TinyG hooked up to a ShapeOko 2

    The symptom is as follows:

During movement all motion stops, the SPDIR light flashes and the TinyG is unresponsive to any commands. I have to press the physical reset button on the device to restart it.

This issue happened at first for any motion command. I reduced motor current to the absolute minimum on all axis and it will now perform homing and jogging OK. However, when two axis are moving it randomly locks up and requires the hardware reset. I have disabled all of the limit switches and this had no effect, it still does the same thing. There is no indication of an error code or message, the TinyG is unresponsive once the lockup occurs.

This is happening with no spindle motor attached at all, just moving the carriage around is enough to cause this to happen.

This is hardware V8 and I just updated to the latest firmware version.

Did you restore your parameters – they get reset by the FW update?

Sounds like limit switches are enabled and perhaps floating.

Post your Parameter set ($$ dumP to a cloud drive and post a URL here

Will do. I had the limit switches disabled and it was still doing the same thing. I will post the config once I am in front of the machine again.
