I hadn’t used my tiny g in a week so I plugged it and turned on Chilipepr and had it connected and it wouldn’t respond. The SpDir is constantly blinking and when I type the $$ command I received “eg” for a reply. Does anyone know what is wrong with my board and what do I need to do to fix it?

If spindir is flashing constantly, I doubt any response is coming back from tinyG. Does the SPJS widget indicate successful connection?

I assume you have tried to hit the reset button, but flashing spindir persists.

If so, you should try to reload FW 440.20 from

then reload your machine setup parameters.

The SPJS Widget does indicate successful connection. When I tried reflashing the 440.20 Firmware I just recieved a message that said that the board couldn’t be programmed. Do you have any suggestions? My board used to work.

When I try to install the firmware I receive
Connecting to programmer: .avrdude.exe: butterfly_recv(): programmer is not responding

Sorry – been away for a couple days.
I saw your message to “Contact Us”, agree that it sounds like your Boot Loader is borked and needs to be reloaded.

If you do not have an Atmel ICE, sending board back to Synthetos for re-programming is probably the quickest way.
