Created a very simple rectangle in CamBam, saved as G Code file and imported into Chilipeppr. When the G Code run icon was clicked, the SpDir started flashing at two times/second rate. The TinyG appeared to freeze up and would not respond to commands, albeit the Serial Com 4 port was open and was communicating with the TinyG. Tried resetting the TinyG and power on/off multiple times without any joy. There is a very small bootup messages sent from the TinyG at power up but that’s it.

Curious, usually that flashing is accociated with a stop being triggered. If that were the case, and if the cause of the triggering has not been corrected before resetting, could that cause behavior like you describe?

How long have you had your tinyG?
    Do you use it frequently?

You could be experiencing this issue

if you tinyG had been sitting on the shelf for a while.
Those with suspect units usually hit the flashing SpnDir fairly quickly (one or two runs).

Are you sure the boot up response you are seeing is from tinyG, not SPJS?
