I think this is a TinyG issue.
This is a continuation of an issue first posted in this threadand starting at this post
I have been in watch and see, doing other things mode for a while, but now I need to run a final version of this job.
As result of a recent activity documented in various threads on the tgFX forum, mostly here
I am happy to report that tgFX is running well for me now on a Win7_64 VM running this experimental build from Riley
I decided to re-run my problematic engraving run with this new tgFX release.
The bad news is I continue to see what appear to be TinyG errors.
A photo of the results of the run is hereAnd maybe you can see it here (I am still trying to figure out posting images)
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/50261731/2014-02-25T16t34t21_1_v1.JPGNote that the bounding boxes now align correctly (my issue back a couple months), but now The letter “D” in Dash, lower left, and letter “O”, top row in Buzz OFF have errors.
GCode is the same, with the addition of 0.1 thru 0.4, which help me decide what cut depth works best.
Any thoughts?
Do you think these are addressed by the upcoming new TinyG FW?
TinyG settings unchanged from old posting.February 26, 2014 at 7:43 pm #5568RileyKeymasterSo one thing you can do to see if this is indeed tgFX or TinyG issue is run this in coolterm.
So just make sure you select RTS and connect then send file and stand back 🙂
This will for sure give me some data to get this one tracked down! Can you post this file too? I love the design very cool stuff indeed.

Yes, Text looks good by the rounded ends on the frame rectangles all look to be trashed.
Is BobCad/CAM a simulator or ?. I am not familiar.February 28, 2014 at 12:44 pm #5587330scMemberBobCad is the Software I use to draw (CAD) with a post processor (g-code generator) to program my vertical machining centers. Basic cad cam. I can take g-code and create geometry from it. Not the main purpose of the software just a feature

Here is your code backplotted in my HSM Express editor..
Quick glance looks perfect to me..

I am fairly confident that the GCode is theoretically accurate, meaning that a Gcode to motion converter (such as TinyG) with infinite capabilities should be able to run it.
So the question is does this Gcode trigger a limitation in TinyG, does it trigger a bug or is this noise related.
I am still in the hunt.
Unfortunately, I bricked my TinyG today so no updates for a week or so. -
