I’m having problems with my new tinyg and I’m not sure if I have a setting wrong, or if it needs to be RMAed. I tested all 4 drivers and the first 3 worked perfectly, the 4th is not working at all. The motor will just sit and vibrate, not spinning at all. I’ve tried all of the following:

    1. moved working stepper motor to the bad channel and moved non-working motor to different channel, problem stayed on the forth channel. I checked to make sure the wiring was correct on each change)

    2. set the 4th driver to different axis, all three (x,y,z) had the same problem.

    3. set the 4th and 3rd drivers to the same axis, third moved like it should, fourth was still bad.

    4. check the resistance of the current pots, it change the same as the other three did.

Any idea on what I’ve missed? is this a setting difference between the last driver and the others or do I need to RMA this board?

The last driver is default set to a “a axis”. Try doing this…

    $4ma=1

then while having 2 motors hooked up to motor 1 and motor 4 issue a:

    g0x100

Both motors should move the same.

I tried mapping it to x,y, and z. so $4ma=0-2 where all used at one time or another. Is the fourth driver mapped to a rotational axis? I’m going to dig into that a bit tonight if I get time.
