I am trying to get a rotary axis running with TinyG and Shapeoko 2.
The Github listed settings I have entered to control the rotation don’t seem
to make any difference as entering different values for $tr travel per revolution and $ara radius value in Coolterm does not change the amount of rotation when jogging the A axis in Chillipeppr.
I am not sure the travel per revolution setting is working for a rotary axis on the 4th motor as when a value is entered $4tr=360 the result is given ; 360 mm
when it should be in degrees or maybe I have missed something.
Testing with a piece of dowel the right diameter for a rotary axis job the cutting occurs on roughly only 90 degrees.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
