I’m having ALL sorts of problems today (of course on the day before this machine was supposed to go into a production environment).. One problem at a time though..

My home/limit switches are what I would call “NC” in that when the switch is NOT activated (not depressed) there is continuity on the 2 wires and when the switch is activated (depressed) the switch contacts “Open” or do not show continuity.. That’s NC in the electrical world that I live in.

But I think tinyG has it backwards.. As when I have my configuration set to NC ($st=1) and turn the machine on the spindle light (I think its that one) just flashes like crazy.. (machine not depressing any switches)
If I set if for NO then it seems to work. But thats backwards IMO

umm well nevermind.. NO idea what happened but I have now got it working properly with NC switches and tinyg set to NC.. When it first wasn’t working I switched to NO and it “seemed” to be just fine for hours.. Then just started getting goofy.. So I wrote this post then switched back to $st being NC and now all is working just fine (so far) this also cleared up my other issue with it moving the wrong direction first during homing. Now all seems to be just fine..

my other post to go along with this..
