Ah so, that must be Win64 version of avrdude.

Riley to the rescue!!!! Just as I was about to smash the controller into tiny pieces (haha), Riley sent me an email and gave me his cell phone number! We tried a few things to no avail, but he is shipping me out a new controller Monday morning! I have to say, this is the best customer service I have ever dealt with, in depth troubleshooting on a Saturday night!! I will send him my controller for some hard core diagnostics..
    Stay tuned!

    Thanks Riley and Carl!

    All,

Talked to @leversole on the phone. I think this may be an issue with the fuses that were set incorrectly. Going to get him a new board and take a look at the old board.

If you want to give avrdude another go, try this file:

I sort of though avrdude was a Win32 application that of course would run on Win64.
I am not really a Windows guy, so not sure how o tell, except try and fail.

Later comment – don’t bother with this – the library file .dll is bad as well, read further down in thread

By the way, here is another way to get $$backup dumps.
Must be run in mm mode

If you still want to try a local update, I believe I built the ZIP archive I provided incorrectly.
    Here is an updated version

Delete the prior version and all its extracted content

The avrdude.exe included here is sames as used by ChiliPeppr SPJS, both 32 bit and 64 bit, so it has to be a 32 bit binary.

    So avrdude should run.
Whether or not your tinyG will actually reflash is still in question.

Took a bit of doing. But it looks like we have a Win32 tg-updater release!

    https://github.com/synthetos/TinyG-Updater/releases/download/v0.6.1/tinyg-updater-Windowsx86_0.6.1.zip

Check it out! Open issues on GH if it does not work. I used it on my win32 windows 8 box and it ran awesome. The auto reset does not always work. So you can always hit the reset button on the tinyg to get it into bootloader mode and then hit “ok” to start the update.

Let me know how this works.
