Hi,

i currently try to unterstand the schematic of TinyG. I did download it from github (version v8h). The four pdf pages [4].

In the schematic there are Jumper Numbers like J4 / J17 and so on. But there is no drawing or picture or whatever, where these jumpers are actually on the real hardware. Nor is in the schematic a comment where these jumper is on the hardware. Is there something i did miss? [1] Is there a layout of the PCB available or only the schematics? I mean the mechanical dimensions is not really all data spec of this thing [2][3].

The ‘J’ reference designator refers to all connectors, not just jumpers. Many connectors are labeled in the schematics, e.g. J14 is TTL serial, J9 is USB, etc. Some are not. Here’s what they are:

J1 – Vmot input (main power input)
J2, J3, J4, J5 – motor connectors
J6 – digital outputs
J17, J18, J19, J20 – stepper signal breakout connectors
J11 – fan connector
J12 – 12v/24v fan voltage selection
