    Hi,

I’m trying to update the firmware on my newly acquired TinyG. But when I try to run avrdude I get 100 000-ish lines of ***failed;.
The avrdude version I have installed is 6.0.1. And the tinyg.hex file I used was from git and under /firmware/tinyg/default/tinyg.hex.

    I can’t get what I do wrong.
I don’t know if it helps but here is a terminal log of the command. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2028820/avrdude.log

Could anyone give me some pointers?

    ** FIXED **

Figured it out. Turns out that you can’t flash it with avrdude 6.0.1, downgraded to 5.11 and it worked perfectly.

Hmm weird. I have flash with 6 before. But cool. BTW if you flashed your v8 with tinyg.hex you blew away your bootloader. I am not sure if you understood that but its pretty easy to get it back on if you have an AVRISP MKII programmer.

Then it is indeed even more weird. Because I still get the led blinking indicating that it got a bootloader…
