As I said a week ago, I’m stuck with the original firmware, because AVRdude throws an error every time. I have asked repeatedly, and have received no answer.
I have installed AVRdude, I have downloaded the latest(?) firmware, and every time I get the same error that I described here: https://www.synthetos.com/topics/where-is-the-edge-firmware/
I have indeed the hex and not HTML of the firmware. If you zipped the hex file, it would not be misinterpreted by the browser.
