I was trying to find the acceptable range on my Shapeoko X axis, and suddenly, the X axis no longer works and the miniscule bit of plastic on the X potentiometer spins without restraint.

Has anyone successfully replaced a trimpot on a v3 board? If so, where did you find the part, and what steps did you follow?

Thank you for any advice you can give me.

    This is the part:
    PVG3G502C01R00

    Check Mouser.com or Digikey.

Thank you for the part number. I may yet end up replacing the pot, but I found by experimenting that, even though it spins freely around and FEELS broken, I can measure the changeing resistance and set it in the same range as the Y pot, and it seems to work fine.
