12V Regulator max current

    How much current can the 12V regulator for the fan safely output?.. My fan is 12V @ .22 Amps (220mA)

    Might be a good thing to add to the Wiki.. I didn’t see it there.

    Probably a good idea to add the max current for the spindle/coolant outputs too..
    20mA? 40mA?

    The regulator can handle 1 amp (in theory). Most fans are < 250ma, so I didn;t worry about it. A figure of say it’s 500ma max out is probably good and conservative.

    The spindle and coolant outs should be limited to 10 ma. These are control signals, so this should not be a problem.
