    Tinyg v8, build 412.01

I can’t get the tinyg to run my dual Y axis on the same stepper.

At low speed it seems to work fine but when a high speed command is sent the motors lock up.

the motors are the same type Nema 23’s.

I am a noob, so I have no idea what is going on…

OK, you moved while I was typing.

What do you mean by “on the same stepper”?
Are you connecting Y1 and Y2 to the same driver device on tinyG?

I am not sure why you would want to do that, unless, for example, you needed the fourth driver to run an extruder on 3D printer (or similar)

Do you know the current ratings on your NEMA 23’s? They vairy.
A tinyG driver device is limited to 2.5A, I believe. If driving dual, 2.5/2 might not be enough.

My comments from tgFX post still apply

Yeah, I just realized about the amps. I completely forgot about that. I am getting ready to rewire everything. I was wanting to put a 4th axis on but it wasn’t really that important.

    Thanks for the help…
