Hi TinyG User,
I’m Christophe from France.
My project is to use TinyG on my Cnc Router.
I do not need drivers, I developed my own tinyG board from scratch based on the diagram of the V8 TinyG and wiki informations. My idea is to get a card compatible with all milling machines already equipped with drivers.
I add 3.3v / 5v level converter on each Input / Output to be compliant with a large amount of power board and drivers.
I just perform some basic tests, need to make many others.

If you are interested in this project, I would answer you via this thread.
Regards,
Christophe.

I am interested ! I intend to retrofit a pick and place machine.
I want to change all driving board with a TinyG core.
Is the design files for your board available ?
I have started drawing on Kicad.

Don’t “waste” your time to draw a board in Kicad, i could give you the Eagle project 😉
I will create a git to push files on it.About the board.
All axis are functional.
I need to perform more tests and finish to configure the board.I have a little issue on my first board release, i add level converter on each I/O, but on 4 outputs (spindle Dir, Spindle Pwm, …) i forget to connect the connector to the output of the lever converter, that’s life.
For my future use it’s a minor issue, but i will update the schematic and apply new route to the PCB.
If you could solder in good condition by hands TQFP and 1206 components (i think “yes” if your project is a pick and place machine…), i could send to you a “blank” board.
If you need a complete and functional board, best way is to have a little patience to i finish all tests on actual version, modify the pcb, order a new batch and assemble some of them.Nice day.
Regards,
Chris.

Thank you for your answers and support.
Your offer for a blank board it’s very tempting. I would try this way the solution and after that I will build my final board.
Best regards,

Your board is on the way.
According to a discussion with Riley from Synthetos, my fork of the TinyG controller need another name to avoid misunderstandings.
Name for this fork of TinyG board is now : CncBooster.
I initialize a repository on github (and a wiki page FR/US): https://github.com/Cncfraises/CncBooster
Need to add many more information, thank you for your patience.
We keep in touch.
Regards,
Chris.
