    I am looking at building an enclosure for my TinyG v8 and I see a two pin header (J15) right next to the Reset button. Before I hook a button up and short out the board… Can anyone confirm if J15 is indeed a header for an external Reset button?

    Yes, J15 is NO Reset leads.

    Have a confirming look here

    HA! I first read that as ‘no reset’! Not Normally-Open! Thanks for the info. I did find the schematic, but not being an electronics expert, I just wanted to make sure I read that correctly.

    By the way, do you know what J16 (BOOT) is used for?

    J16 is, I believe, a legacy of life before the current bootloader, a way to force uC into boot code (for flashing, etc.) That is a vague recollection, might not be accurate. Reset now of course reboots as well..
