    I have a new TinyG I just received this week, v8 with barcode/serial 81-3190 and I cannot connect to it. I followed the instructions and the power light lights up blue when power is connected but no other LEDs light up or blink on power or reset. When I press the reset button the blue LED stays lit and no other LEDs flash.

    I am using the 24v Meanwell 150-24 power supply recommended in the Wiki and the power wires are correctly connected and measure 24.0V when checked with a voltmeter.

    I have installed the FTDI driver and rebooted (using Windows 7 Pro 64). The COM port is visible and CoolTerm can “connect” but no data is received from the TinyG upon connection or when sending any commands or carriage returns.

    What should I do next?

    From your description, tinyG is not booting up.
