    Oops, I seem to have bricked my TinyG

    I downloaded the EDGE FW

    > wget http://synthetos.github.io/binaries/tinyg-edge-412.01.hex
    --2014-02-28 07:25:52--  http://synthetos.github.io/binaries/tinyg-edge-412.01.hex
    Resolving synthetos.github.io (synthetos.github.io)... 199.27.78.133
    Connecting to synthetos.github.io (synthetos.github.io)|199.27.78.133|:80... connected.
    HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK

    100%[================================================================================>] 328,735     1.57MB/s   in 0.2s

    I am doing this from Linux, I have avrdude

    avrdude version 5.11.1, URL: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/avrdude/>

    I hit reset on TinyG and started avrdude

    > avrdude -p x192a3 -P /dev/ttyUSB0 -c avr109 -b 115200 -U flash:w:tinyg-edge-412.01.hex

    Connecting to programmer: .
    Found programmer: Id = "XBoot++"; type = S
        Software Version = 1.7; No Hardware Version given.
    Programmer supports auto addr increment.
    Programmer supports buffered memory access with buffersize=512 bytes.

    Programmer supports the following devices:
        Device code: 0x7b

    avrdude: AVR device initialized and ready to accept instructions

    Reading | ################################################## | 100% 0.00s

    avrdude: Device signature = 0x1e9744
    avrdude: NOTE: FLASH memory has been specified, an erase cycle will be performed
             To disable this feature, specify the -D option.
    avrdude: erasing chip
    avrdude: reading input file "tinyg-edge-412.01.hex"
    avrdude: input file tinyg-edge-412.01.hex auto detected as Intel Hex
    avrdude: writing flash (116870 bytes):

    Writing |                                                    | 0% 0.00savrdude: butterfly_recv(): programmer is not responding

    Seemed like it was initiating OK, but then aborted.

    TinyG flashing led now, as if in constant reboot.
    Tried long power off-power on, no difference.

    Unless I find a fix soon, it will be in this afternoon’s mail for a reprogramming (might as well load EDGE)

    Update: I tried reloading tinyg-master-380.08.hex, no joy.
    TinyG in the mail
