Here is a great example of why I don’t like the WordPress Forum tool.

I saw an issue posted (about SSR interface) that I knew I had seen “…some time ago…”. I looked and looked for a search tool to find the old post, but could find nothing, so had to manually work back X pages to grab it’s URL to use in a response.

Is there a way to search topics and/or content of old posts?
Just point me to a user guide or something that exists if such is available.

As a related comment, I always have to embed such with a “ul /ul” pair, can’t seem to make the link button work.

There are two searches. One in the absolute far upper right. It seems to search all of Synthetos.com.

There is also one on the home page to the support forum: https://www.synthetos.com/forum/ It appears to be specific to the support forum.

Funny. I have trouble with UL, but LINK works for me, as above. 😐 The problems with WordPress are frustrating, because you only get five minutes to figure out what went wrong with the formatting of your message before editing is disabled.

Thanks for the hints, I’ll give both a try

I assume you realize you have to ‘close’ the ul tag with the \ul tag.
The ul button actually changes to \ul while you are entering/editing the URL.

    Okay. Thanks, let’s try that.

      1. First I press the button, then type, then press the button again.
      2. This time, I typed the html tags manually.
      3. This time, I wrote the whole line, highlighted it, then pressed the button.

Since there is no preview, I can’t tell before hitting submit if these will work. Before hitting submit, all three look like valid html.

(EDIT) After hitting submit, *none* of them look underlined. :^|
(2ND EDIT) While the actual link button has an underline, the actual UL button does not. So I guess UL works the way they designed it. 🙂 🙂
