If I seal the TinyG in an enclosure, how do I bring the reset button to the outside?

The best way is just to wire another switch across the existing switch terminals. This entails soldering a pair of wires to the surface mount leads. In a future revision I will probably make a 2 pin connector for this. Are you OK with the soldering or do you need further clarification or assistance?

What are the differences between a reset from the reset button and a reset from the Amax limit switch?  Could you just wire a button to the Amax limit switch to use for a reset?

The difference is that the amax limit must be configured as a limit, and it’s not actually a reset – it’s an interrupt that causes the system to go into a shutdown mode, not a reset. Using the reset button – if you really want a reset – is more reliable.

I wired a switch onto a 6 pin 2 row header and plugged it into the programming header, saves soldering onto the board.
