I just hooked my GRBLshield into my Arduino board to test my router. I was able to get the X and Z axis to work properly. The Y axis just made a humming noise. So, I turn the current pot up and it did the same thing still. So, then I swapped the X and Y axis motor connectors to test if it was the board or the motor. All three motors worked fine and the Y axis grblshield pins did motor any of the motors. Is there away to check with a multimeter for resistance or voltage to check to see if something is burnt up or if something else is going on?

    Thanks,

    Wes

It looks like the Y axis is not working for some reason. You did all the tests we would. One question – What does the Y LED do? Barring a simple answer we may need to exchange the board. It’s difficult to diagnose without an oscilloscope and some test programs.
